I am taking a quick tour from union square and would like to sit down and get my work done. I found Doe Library not too far from the station. The library itself holds exhibitions and there are lots of history you can enjoy walking in the library building. There are several beautiful sitting halls that you can sit and work and it opens publicly.

quite big library right in the heart of UC Berkeley, the architecture is fabulous. This library does not only provide books in shelf but also some exhibitions look like a museum, very interesting.

Such a beautiful library! I never went there much since I always preferred Moffit or Stacks but I do admit that Doe is pretty great.

Love this place, multiple libraries within the same building. Convenient, comfortable and closes quite late (9pm)
