Love this library, all the librarians are wonderful and friendly, and the free classes/events hosted here are so much fun!

My kids love this library. Such a great children's area with lots of toys to play with in a cute old building!

This library is so cute and convenient to have in our small town. Its really fun to ride my bike to all the time! They have a good enough selection of books and the staff is pretty friendly. Though they’re one of the few places in La Center that are pretty strict with masks…

For all intents and purposes, it is a library. However, myself and others do go there for our kids to study and get work done. It’s three times now that we’ve had to leave the library as a result of group activities that have been so loud that we can’t even hear ourselves think.

There are no quiet areas for study, and the last time they were there they had allowed an entire group of people to throw a bunco party. It was so loud it was even disturbing the librarian.

La Center has a community center, and many spaces where such activities can be enjoyed. A library is supposed to be quiet, or at least at a sound manageable to other guests using it.

Yes the library is cute and the building has an interesting history in addition to all the other things you'd expect from a modern library.

The librarians are incredible. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. There are many classes offered online and they offer craft kits for children each week.

Librarians are always eager to go the extra mile. Currently offering curbside pickup for online book orders. Add in the outdoor book return and you can have an entirely remote library experience.

It's a pretty small and intimate library. Don't expect walls and walls of books. There are tables to work (but no power plugs), a kids area, a teen area, public computers and super nice librarians.
