The staff was friendly and helpful. Like the books on CD and large print book section. Im excited to be in Lake Placid! Everyone is so friendly here compared to Jacksonville. Starting to feel like home.

Filled my need for photocopies, AND my want for a coin-operated machine!
Plus, this Library has outdoor access to Public Drinking Water.

Friendly, helpful librarians, even 15 min. before closing time. Impressed by the monthly adult activities and the Black History Month reading list. Also forgot that there is a Friends of the Library used book store next door. Found great birding books and the novel I was looking for to borrow. Organized, clean library.

I've been visiting this library since late 2023 and I must say the staff are always pleasant, knowledgeable and eager to assist with my needs.

Alysia and Deama take their roles with pride and continue to display a level of commitment that is outstanding!

Ok ladies, I would have given you 5 stars but I had to give up a good movie that I already checked out that I had been wanting to see. Other than that, everything is all good especially with the Plandemic going on. You can go browse the books or magazines. Look for something good to watch or use the computers all in a safe atmosphere. Or you can reserve a book or DVD on-line to be brought out curbside, or pick it up already checked out. It's nice knowing I can still go to my local library where everyone treats you like you were walking into Cheers, lol, almost. It makes for feeling a little on the normal side during this crazy time.
