We love this library! Hands down one of the best in Alachua county. All the staff are incredibly friendly and patient. They go above and beyond doing scavenger hunts within the library and implementing new enrichment ideas for children.

Lovely library to the side of downtown Newberry. Great dvd selection and seed library. Right now they have flyers and info on gardening/plants including info on seeds they have available.

Our family appreciates all of the kid programs offered: music + movement, story time, spanish, etc...My kids love Mr Dylan. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, even when my crazy kiddos come through.

I do think theres room for improvement though.
I wish the kids room was closed off like at other libraries so the kids are less likely to run off or disrupt other library goers.
Also, the only diaper changing table is in the mens room which is kind of inconvenient. The staff will clear the bathroom and wait outside the door for you which is nice but it's still a bit annoying. My toddlers B-line straight for that urinal!

My FAVORITE Branch of the Absolute BEST Library System I've ever had the privilege to visit. Super friendly staff and great patrons in a modern space focused toward giving our community's children a welcoming space to enjoy, learn, and grow. My kiddos & I could fly around the world if we earned frequent flyer miles each visit... THANKS to Marlin, Lisa, Lisa, Dillon, and all the other pro librarians for great kids events too. :)

The staff is rude and nasty they didn't ask if we needed help finding anything they are very unwelcoming and unpleasant this was not my first experience at this library but it will definitely be my last.
