I enjoy going to this library. It's not so big that it's overwhelming. For me it's just the right size. The staff is always friendly and helpful. You can use their computers & Internet service. They have DVDs that you can borrow along with many different books

I have gone to the Carthage Public Library for awhile now since I have lived in Carthage for 4 years. I have enjoyed it. I always use the computers and print or make copies when I need to. I have never had an issue with the staff! The lady that is from England is most of the time up at the desk upstairs at the computers. She has been helpful! Love talking to her and her accent!

The little play area for children is great! Puppets, blocks..toys to play with! A mat that has colors in English and Spanish..

I was surprised to see that this is an original Carnegie Library from 1905. The Limestone / marble building is beautiful. I find one good book every week. Historical fiction is my niche. Carthage has a great collection to choose from.
The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.
All amenities are on hand including computers and reading desks.
I have lived in much larger cities that had much worse libraries.
