This library is definitely not bad. The only thing I will say is that I wished that the computers had Adobe Premiere Pro on them considering the fact that the Mac computers at the on-campus library at Northwest suck due to their finicky mice. Other than that, the Maryville Public Library is not bad.

The library is very modern and trendy. It has great children and young adult sections with many stations for children's activities. I enjoy going to the book sale at least once a year. It's a great opportunity to build your home library.
My only issue would be the fees associated with having a library card if you live outside the city limits of Maryville.

The staff at the library are really friendly and helpful. They do a wonderful job with activities at the library and have a good variety of programs for the patrons to choose from. I like the audio book collection, especially, and my niece and nephew and I spend a good deal of time there either checking out books or taking part in activities. Elizabeth Argo and Debra Clark bring a lot of expertise and fun to the programs they teach.

The meeting space is wonderful and the reading room is very nicely decorated. There is a small conference room upstairs, as well as a larger gathering space in the basement for special activities. The building is handicap-accessible via the north entrance. There is both on-street and off-street parking (on the north). The historic building that houses the library is impressive too!

Very nice library. Decent selection of books. Lots of kids activities. Can reserve rooms for meetings. Pleasant staff. Small computer area, but you can print for a fee.

So much has changed in Maryville, MO since 9/11 . This invaluable asset remains seemingly timeless and 💯 free to all.
